In November 2015, ten children from Newtown School came together for 5 weeks to learn stop motion. These are their first stop motion movies.
Each child read one line of the poem The Captive, by Alice Robertson, from NZ School Journal, Part 2, Number 3, 2004.
The medium was colour paper with some children creating self portraits. Look out for the clever use of a mirror and scissors.
