Stop-Go Animation at Pataka is an afterschool programme hosted by Pataka Education.
Over 8 weeks the children learnt the various tasks to produce stop motion movies, including story development and script, recording the soundtrack, building sets and the actual animation.
This was the first time Newtown Movie School offered an afterschool programme and we were surprised by the response. This first programme quickly filled with 12 children and the wait list would fill another programme.
These movies were made in July to September 2013.
All movies were first shown at the Premiere screening to families on 21 September 2013.
